Life update

Hey guys,

I am going to be honest with you. I didn’t have much inspiration for this blogpost and that is mostly because I have been so extremely occupied with school the past couple of weeks. I just ended a week full of important tests and am ready to start doing other things than studying. I would love to give you an update about my life thoughts and more. I hope you enjoy reading it!

So as I just said, I was busy with school. I can assure you, school isn’t a great source of inspiration. Therefore I am trying to get it back again by spending time with friends, reading, watching movies/YouTube/Netflix.

My mind hasn’t stopped working, though. Right now I am trying to really kick-off the organizational process for the schoolparty I will be organizing (inspired by the MET Gala, yes you heard that right; the actual MET Gala). I have been brainstorming about the decorations, location and stuff like that. I really hope everything will work out!

Apart from that, I have also been working on an interview that I will be holding for Beeldbrengers (a media organization I am part of). I will be interviewing a local influencer and will be talking about the industry with her: I can’t wait.

Both of the things I mentioned above are pretty big steps for me, since I am absolutely not used to doing stuff like this. I wanted to step out of my comfort zone this year and do stuff I can be proud of and develop myself. I am really working on that. Even though it is a bit scary, I know I will learn a lot and grow because of things like these.

Talking about resolutions…. There are only 52 more days of 2019 left. How fast did this year pass by? It is unbelievable. I will reflect on my new year’s resolutions at the end of December and will probably set myself some new goals for 2020 as well. I really want to make the absolute most of this last bit of 2019. I am so excited for the holiday season. I can’t wait to (hopefully) walk through the snow, admiring all the lights, set up the Christmas tree, sit by the fire place, drink hot choco and be with my family. Can you tell how excited I am?

I have some fun things on the agenda among which (probably) going to London, seeing a play and attending a couple of parties. What a cozy time. No doubt all of these things will give me some new inspiration.

How have you been? Are you as excited as I am about the upcoming season?

Talk to you soon.

Lots of love,

Sophie
